The Ticket to Work Program is for people who currently receive Social Security disability benefits, who want to improve their earning potential and are committed to preparing for long-term success in the workplace.
2026 MAHA Future Leader Scholarship Program
The Housing Authority is hoping to award up to three deserving MAHA resident high school seniors a one time $1000 scholarship. These seniors should be planning to attend college next year. The application is below.
Required Documentation:
-A copy of your transcript showing your GPA is 3.0 or higher.
-Verification of application or acceptance to a secondary school.
-A 350-500 word essay explaining the importance of Public Housing and other income based housing in America.
-A letter of recommendation from a non-family member.
-A publishable photo of the applicant.
Once the application is submitted, the supporting documents are to be emailed in PDF form to beth@maha-nc.org. All applications and supporting documentation should be submitted in English.
